Hello everyone!
I'm Rosie, I danced at Vanessa Golborn School of Dance a few years ago before leaving to head off to uni in London.
I am now in my final year of uni studying graphic design and for one of my projects for final year I am looking at redesigning the logo and identity of Vanessa Golborn School of Dance.
I want this project to be something that everyone can be involved in, I don't want it to just be something designed for the school, but something designed by working together with the teachers and students (and anyone else who is interested) to create something brilliant that everyone likes and that really sums up the school.
It would be great if you have any ideas of what you would like to see from this project if you could comment below, whether that be other dance schools logos or websites that you have seen and admire, or other logos you think are cool or just colours and styles. Any initial ideas that you have would great to receive so we can get the ball rolling and start to come up with some great ideas and designs.
Below are a few initial images I have from some image research, please leave comments. I really want everyone to get as much as they can from this project! After the initial research I will start to build up some ideas and will be visiting the school in a few weeks to discuss ideas. I will keep posting my ideas here so everyone is up to date and can give feedback!
